Ever since a good friend suggested I check out these stunning marine beauties, I have fallen in love with the striking appearance of the spotted eagle ray. The way they glide and flow effortlessly over the sandy ripples of the ocean floor is quite mesmerising.

This piece is a little different.... I have used sand mixed with acrylic paint and chalk paint, to create texture and a sense of earthiness to showcase the fluid movement of the rays.
