Soft Sage Greens and Sable Brushes
Its the simple things I love...
The snap of a Kookaburra's beak
The lure of a Blue Wren's song
The curve of a Humpback's tail

My grandfather was an artist - his studio was a magical place to explore as a young girl. These were his brushes.

I discovered a simple eucalyptus leaf can make an interesting brush mark - and so can a length of thread dipped in paint.
Finding Joy in the Process
Knowing how to start an artwork and knowing when to stop - these are two of my greatest challenges. There are so many new ways to capture form, texture, movement and emotion. I like to think the artworks speak for themselves when my part is done. I am also featuring my son’s artwork on my website under the title ‘Jack’s Artwork’ to show that artistic talent truly is generational.
